Dear Jay,
It's been a week since you left us, and it's been a week of celebration of your kind and gentle life. It's also been a week of heartache for those of us that loved you so much. That heartache will last as long as we will be here on earth.
You are in good hands now, just as you were in the best of hands during your life here on earth. We will miss you until we all meet again.
If you happen to run into your cousin Steve, (he was supposed to be there to greet you...,) but you know how things go, I just wanted to give you a little advice. Never play cards with him, or dice OR ANYTHING for money. Even though he would give you back your, "losings," he'll drive you nuts in the process. He is quite a sleight-of-hand artist.
But when you do see him, tell him that dad loves him unconditionally.
And as for you Jay, my fine young fellow, I am very proud of you for many things. You accomplished so much in your short life, accumulated many, many friends and admirers, became a leader and an inspiration to those you coached, and just developed into a super person. I am so proud to have been part of your life, and I know that we will meet again.
I will never forget you Jason.
-Uncle Bruce
